This doesn't change his original stats too much. Suiting that Calvary fighting style, he can also fit into the Paladin class. ![]() The Hammer or Armorslayer can slay through foes who have armor on them. Using the Brave Lance can give Amber up to four hits per turn, depending on how high his speed is. Using the Spear or Tomahawk gives Amber an option to fight from far away, being a ranged weapon. The Silver Greatlance is a step up from the Silver Lance, giving Amber a better chance to wipe the battlefield when he attacks. The Silver Sword, Axe, or Lance is a very good weapon for Amber starting out, as they have no downsides or upsides besides it being a bit weaker than other weapons. Defense is a defense boost, and Axe Power boosts his strength only when he has an axe in hand. Resolve gives him a great Defense and Resistance boost once his health is in its last quarter, yet is only active while his health is in that quarter. The General Knight Class is a bit more defensive, so it'd help Amber stand longer on the battlefield. This helps him get through the field with ease.Ĭorrin has HP, which boosts his HP quite a good bit. Sigurd gives a lot for movement, making Amber quicker and more agile on the field.He can also give Sword Power, which only affects Amber if he's to have a sword in hand. With Amber's resistance being so low, having that extra backup can be essential. ![]() This will save Amber if he's hit in a way that would otherwise knock him out. When Amber can lose 10 of that avoidance in battle, using Marth to cover the blow that Aspiring Hero will do to his avoidance makes a good backup plan. Marth can give Avoid as an ability, making Amber dodge attacks easier. These boost Amber's speed, making him faster on the battlefield. Lyn comes in with both Alacrity and Speedtaker. Heavier weapons will do ok with Amber, but it's best not to give him the heaviest weapons of the entire team. While the Great Knight class fits Amber will be using more physical weaponry in his run, as he can't handle the magic abilities of things such as the Flame Lance. He's not meant to completely take hits for his team members, so pairing him up with a character that has poor defense will wipe them both out on the battlefield. In the Great Knight Class, he's best paired with a character who's got high magic and good defense. ![]() This will utilize his speed, strength, and defense, suiting the cavalry fighting style just right. Even the weapons that characters equip have their own stats, fitting to only certain characters.īeing a Great Knight suits Amber well, using Aspiring Hero to his benefit. Each character has its own specialties and weaknesses, and planning accordingly is crucial to safely push through foes ahead. Team members can be obtained throughout the game, presenting a diverse and unique cast of characters to obtain and fight alongside. There are high risks to each fight, especially when it's possible to have your entire team wiped out. This can result in characters being either too injured to ever fight again or pass away. Fighting is the core mechanic, being a tactical turn-based RPG. Most of these variables can be changed to some degree to become the best in their class or whichever class they've been changed to. With this, there are a ton of variables that add up to how powerful a character can actually be. Playing through, old cast members can be utilized in battle, teaming up with them to become more powerful. Fire Emblem: Engage is bringing more to the series with its colorful cast and new mechanics. ![]()
